Finance Officers

  •  participate in carrying out the financial activities of the school board,
  •  assist the coaching and support staff of the administrative units,
  •  supervise the coordination of the financial management tasks of a work team.

For example, it is partly thanks to their work that schools and centres:

  •  pay their employees,
  •  have an annual budget prepared and monitored,
  •  produce financial reports and interim financial reports,
  •  adhere to accounting standards and tax laws,
  •  make payments to their providers,
  •  invoice accounts receivable,
  •  meet the accountability requirements of MELS
  •  etc.
