Finance Officers
- participate in carrying out the financial activities of the school board,
- assist the coaching and support staff of the administrative units,
- supervise the coordination of the financial management tasks of a work team.
For example, it is partly thanks to their work that schools and centres:
- pay their employees,
- have an annual budget prepared and monitored,
- produce financial reports and interim financial reports,
- adhere to accounting standards and tax laws,
- make payments to their providers,
- invoice accounts receivable,
- meet the accountability requirements of MELS
- etc.
