La Fédération des professionnelles et professionnels de l’éducation (FPPE-CSQ) tiendra son congrès triennal du 18 au 20 juin 2025 au Centre des congrès de Saint-Hyacinthe. Cette édition marquera le 40e anniversaire de la Fédération sous le thème « Ère d’aller », une invitation à célébrer les acquis tout en se projetant vers l’avenir.

Une programmation riche et engagée

Parmi les moments forts, une conférence d’ouverture sera animée par Émilie Nicolas, chroniqueuse au Devoir et à La Gazette, militante antiraciste et féministe, qui proposera une analyse de la conjoncture et un appel à l’engagement collectif.

Plusieurs ateliers thématiques sont prévus :

  • L’avenir de l’implication syndicale des femmes appartient-il à l’hybride ?
    Animé par Marie-Pier Bernard Pelletier, professeure adjointe à la TÉLUQ, cet atelier explorera les enjeux de genre dans les relations de travail et la représentation syndicale.
  • L’IA en éducation : tendances et leviers d’actions syndicales
    Présenté par Antoine Casgrain, conseiller à l’action professionnelle à la CSQ, cet atelier abordera les impacts de l’intelligence artificielle sur le milieu éducatif et les actions syndicales possibles.(FPPE)
  • Réflexion sur le rapport au travail avec l’auteure du livre Travailler moins ne suffit pas
    Julia Posca, chercheuse à l’IRIS, proposera une réflexion sur les transformations du travail et les enjeux de la réduction du temps de travail.
  • Susciter l’engagement et la solidarité syndicale : changer le monde, une heure à la fois
    Animé par Marie-Sophie Villeneuve, conseillère à l’action sociopolitique à la CSQ, cet atelier visera à renforcer l’implication syndicale et la solidarité entre les membres.

Un panel intitulé «La place du personnel professionnel dans le réseau scolaire : état des lieux et perspectives » réunira Julien Prud’homme, professeur à l’UQTR, et Carol-Anne Gauthier, professeure de psychologie au CÉGEP Champlain-St. Lawrence, pour discuter du rôle et des défis du personnel professionnel en éducation.

2025 Convention

A rich program for all professionals

The Fédération des professionnelles et professionnels de l’éducation (FPPE-CSQ) will hold its triennial convention from June 18 to 20, 2025, at the Saint-Hyacinthe Convention Centre. This edition will mark the 40th anniversary of the Fédération under the theme “Ère d’Aller,” an invitation to celebrate achievements while looking to the future.

Highlights include an opening address by Émilie Nicolas, columnist with Le Devoir and The Gazette, and anti-racist and feminist activist, who will offer an analysis of the current situation and a call for collective mobilization.

Several themed workshops are planned:

  • L’avenir de l’implication syndicale des femmes appartient-il à l’hybride? (Does the future of women’s union involvement belong to the hybrid?)
    Moderated by Marie-Pier Bernard Pelletier, assistant professor at TÉLUQ, this workshop will explore gender issues in labour relations and union representation.
  • L’IA en éducation : tendances et leviers d’actions syndicales (AI in education: trends and levers for union action)
    Presented by Antoine Casgrain, professional action consultant at the CSQ, this workshop will address the impacts of artificial intelligence on the educational environment and possible union actions. (FPPE)
  • Réflexion sur le rapport au travail avec l’auteure du livre Travailler moins ne suffit pas (Reflecting on the relationship with work with the author of the book “Travailler moins ne suffit pas”)
    Julia Posca, researcher at IRIS, will lead a discussion on work transformations and the challenges of reducing working hours.
  • Susciter l’engagement et la solidarité syndicale : changer le monde, une heure à la fois (Fostering Commitment and Union Solidarity: Changing the World, One Hour at a Time)
    Moderated by Marie-Sophie Villeneuve, adviser for socio-political action at the CSQ, this workshop aims to strengthen union involvement and solidarity among members.

A panel entitled La place du personnel professionnel dans le réseau scolaire : état des lieux et perspectives (The role of professional staff in the school system: Current situation and prospects) will bring together Julien Prud’homme, professor at UQTR, and Carol-Anne Gauthier, professor of psychology at CÉGEP Champlain–St. Lawrence, to discuss the role and challenges of professional education staff.
